PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording device which does not need an dedicated aperture for carrying out forced ejection of a recording medium 1 in a front panel of a personal computer incorporating a magnetic recording device. SOLUTION: In a magnetic recording device, forced ejection of the recording medium 1 can be carried out manually without the dedicated aperture in the front panel of the personal computer, by arranging a folded portion 3a to push an ejection plate 3 formed together with the ejection plate 3 at a at a loading gate 2a of the recording medium 1.
