PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument for basically combining a conventionally using leveling string and a level gauge for easily measuring levelness and perpendicularity between separate two points at a building site and a civil engineering work site. SOLUTION: This levelness/perpendicularity measuring instrument between two points applies tension to the leveling string 3 by treating the leveling string 3 operated with one end of a measuring display line 2 arranged on a body 1 as the origin like a pulling feeling by gripping a gripping part 11 by stretching up to an optional measuring point, and is composed of the leveling string 3 operated with one end of the measuring display line 2 arranged on the body 1 as the origin and at least one bubble type level installed on the body 1 for displaying the horizontal with the leveling string 3 as an indicating string. One bubble type level 4 is arranged on a surface parallel to a surface provided with the measuring display line 2, and at least one bubble type level 5 is arranged on a surface substantially perpendicular to a surface for installing the bubble type level 4.
