PURPOSE: A semiconductor device, and a device and a method for processing image data are provided to easily control addresses if mixed data is handled, simplify an address control circuit, easily access the image data in a level having different resolutions, and reduce a volume of the image data. CONSTITUTION: An image memory(100) stores the mixed data respectively including pixel data and additional information data. A pixel selector(120) generates the additional information data for each pixel data stored in the memory as flag data. The flag data generates the mixed data by being combined with the pixel data as the additional information data, and the generated data is stored in the image memory. A judging circuit(140) generates a selection control signal depending on the additional information data included in the mixed data read from the image memory and provides the selection control signal to a selecting circuit(130). The selecting circuit selectively reads/outputs the pixel data from the memory depending on the selection control signal.
