PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary positive electrode type x-ray tube capable of obtaining a stable rotation, and capable of preventing breakage due to thermal expansion. SOLUTION: The rotary positive electrode type X-ray tube comprises a positive electrode target 12 arranged in the vacuum housing 11, a rotor 15 that rotates in one body with the positive electrode target 12, a fixing shaft 18 supporting the rotor 15 rotatably through bearings Ra, Rb, Sa, Sb, and a support mechanism 20 supporting the fixing shaft 18. The support mechanism 20 comprises an elastically deforming disc spring part 22 and a second support member 23 for supporting the disc spring part 22 while giving a force in the direction of tube axis m to the fixing shaft 18.
