PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cartridge wherein one tape cartridge can be easily extracted from a stack of a plurality of the tape cartridges. SOLUTION: A tape cartridge 10 holds recording tapes rotatably in a casing enclosure which is configured by combining an upper casing 20 and a lower casing 30. In the tape cartridge 10 which has a recess part 1b for stacking casings at a lower surface of a lower casing 30 or at a top surface of an upper casing 20, and a projection part 1a for stacking casings to be fit in the recess part 1b for stacking casings is arranged at a top surface of the upper casing 20 or the lower surface of the lower casing 30, the recess part 1b for stacking casings is made to lead from one side to opposite side of the casing enclosure.
