ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND EMERGENCY PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of performing an emergency evacuation mode for evacuating a head at the emergency time when the electronic apparatus is dropped or the like without using a disk drive having a special specification. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus 100 with a built-in disk drive 10 is disclosed. A host CPU 20 outputs an interruption signal used also at the time of usual operation if a drop is detected with a sensor 22 to indicate execution of the emergency evacuation mode to the disk drive 10. The disk drive 10 executes a head evacuation operation when the emergency evacuation mode is set. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
