摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing technology of a magnetic granular structure film wherein a FePt based magnetic thin film having high coercive force Hc, comparatively satisfactory residual magnetization Mr, high crystal magnetic anisotropy Ku, a small particle size, satisfactory corrosion resistance and high energy product (BH)max is made practical as a low noise magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: In the granular structure film, magnetic crystal grains are dispersed in a non-magnetic amorphous matrix and respective crystal grains are enclosed by a grain enclosing material for suppressing the crystal grains from growing and making their diameter large when annealing.
