PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of stopping an alarm sound in a dwelling house from out of the dwelling house in an alarm and monitoring system combining an automatic fire alarm facility in an apartment house with an interphone facility. SOLUTION: A composite board is connected to a plurality of housing information boards through a pair of transfer lines. The composite board transmits, in response to the operation input of an alarm sound stop switch, an alarm sound stop signal with a designated room number through the transfer lines, and the housing information board of the designated room number stops the generation of the alarm sound on receipt of the alarm sound stop signal from the transfer lines. Accordingly, the alarm sound of the housing information board of a required dwelling house can be stopped by the operation from the composite board. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
