PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic cellulose ester composition fiber consisting essentially of a cellulose ester, composed of a component with a slight environmental load and having excellent melt spinnability, not only excellent strength and elongation characteristics but also excellent uniformity of fineness and heat shrinkability. SOLUTION: The cellulose ester composition fiber is composed of a composition comprising a cellulose ester having a structure of general formula (1) in the side chain and an oligomer and/or a polymer containing the structure of general formula (1).
