PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contra-rotating propeller device capable of performing the sensitive complicated operation and being applied to various uses. SOLUTION: A rear propeller 6 mounted on an inner shaft 5 is a variable pitch propeller of which a blade mounting angle is variable, and rotated and driven by a main engine 1 as a first driving device through a reducer 8 and a variable pitch propeller adjusting device 11. A front propeller 4 mounted on a cylindrical outer shaft 3 coaxial with the inner shaft 5, is a fixed pitch propeller, and rotated and driven in the direction opposite to the rear propeller 6 by a main engine 1' as a second driving device through a reducer 9 for the fixed pitch propeller.
