PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily degraded weed suppressor without adversely affecting the environment. SOLUTION: The weed suppressor 100 suppresses the growth of weeds by sowing thereof on soil 104. There is provided the weed suppressor 100 characterized in that the weed suppressor has buckwheat husks and Koji molds propagated in the buckwheat husks and gaps between the mutual buckwheat husks are embedded with the Koji molds.
