PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burgular prevention device capable of operating the burgular prevention function of an alarm apparatus when the illegal intruder forcibly removes the fixing of a surface grille, thereby preventing the intrusion of an illegal intruder. SOLUTION: This burgular prevention device, in which the surface grille provided with a decoration plate having vertical grilles or multiple voids is fixed at the outdoor side of the opening of a building to be opposed to the opening, is composed of a magnetic body to be attached to the surface grille, a magnetic sensor to be atached to an opening member or an external wall at the position facing the magnetic body, and the alarm apparatus connected to the magnetic sensor. The alarm apparatus executes a burgular prevention operation when receiving an electric signal generated by the magnetic sensor based on magnetic change. In the device, a plurality of magnetic bodies or magnetic sensors are arranged distributedly right to left or up and down on the surface grille. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
