A ceramic component with increased climatic resistance is proposed, wherein a connector mass (V) that comprises a precious metal is used to connect the electrical connectors (AL) with the electrodes (E) of the component. The entire component is also covered with a protective sheathing (S) made of a plastic, particularly a plastic modified to be hydrophobic.
