METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a color filter substrate for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to eliminate scan traces generated when laser scanning is carried out for fabricating the color filter substrate. CONSTITUTION: A black matrix(105) is formed on an insulating substrate(100). A color filter transfer film adheres to the substrate on which the black matrix is formed. A laser head is located above the color filter transfer film, and then the color filter transfer film is laser-scanned. The color filter transfer film is removed to form a color filter pattern(125). The substrate on which the color filter pattern is formed is heated to harden the color filter pattern. The surface of the color filter pattern is polished using a surface polisher(150) to flatten the surface of the color filter pattern.
