A disk device capable of realizing high recording densification by suppressing the occurrence of turbulent flow and swirl by the suppression of the separation of air to reduce the vibration of a disk due to a reduction in air exiting force causing the natural vibration of a spindle system and a method of assembling the same. In the disk device, the disk (1) is placed on a spindle hub (2) through a spacer disk (7) and fixed by a clamp disk (3), the disk (1) is rotatingly driven. Straightening holes are formed in at least one of the spacer disk (7), clamp disk (3), and spindle hub (2). The inlet ports and outlet ports of the straightening holes are formed in the outer peripheral side face of the member in which the straightening holes are formed.
