<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication network system that allows to automatically transfer data received through a public network to the other terminal on a communication network such as LAN as needed and used more effectively and actively as one terminal on the communication network. <P>SOLUTION: The communication network system is provided with a facsimile machine 6 that has a transfer means that transfers data received from a public network, and a printer 4 provided with a storage means for the storage of data and a printing means for printing the output of data, and personal computers 8-10 each provided with a means that performs control for data transmission/reception.
