<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fuel treating equipment that is capable of shortening a starting time. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel treating equipment is provided with a reforming catalyst part 21 that is charged with a reforming catalyst to reform a hydrocarbon type fuel h into a reformed gas g comprising hydrogen as a main component, a modified catalyst part 22 that is charged with a modifying catalyst to modify carbon monoxide in the reformed gas, a selective oxidation catalyst 23 that is charged with a selective oxidation catalyst to selectively oxidize carbon monoxide in the reformed gas after the modification, a burner part 25 that receives the feeding of the fuel, burns the fuel and heats the reforming catalyst part, and exhausts burned exhaust gas q, a burned exhaust gas passage 28 in which the burned exhaust gas or the unburned fuel n in the burner part flows and a burning catalyst part 26 that is formed in the burned exhaust gas passage and is charged with a burning catalyst therein, wherein the burning catalyst part is arranged at the proximity of the modifying catalyst part 22 or the selective oxidation catalyst part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
