<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to confirm the printing state of a printer before a printing a specified page even after a printing job is started by executing the off-line process of the printing in page units constituting the printing job. <P>SOLUTION: Whether the printing process is temporarily stopped or not is set for each page constituting the printing job until an operation to restart the printing process is carried out.
