PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a display panel capable of suppressing relative positional deviation of two substrates facing each other in manufacture. SOLUTION: This display panel 1 is manufactured by arranging two substrates 2, 3 to sandwich a glass sealing material 4 formed in an outer peripheral part of at least one of the substrates, then fixing outside of the glass sealing material 4 by gluing with a binding material 5 for temporary fixation, then sealing with the glass-sealing material 4. Thereby, the fixation reliability of the two substrates 2, 3 is improved in manufacture, and the relative positional deviation of the substrates 2, 3 is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
