PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural work vehicle having a compactified total length, a low cost and a lowered center of gravity and, thereby, improving working performance and stability/operatability of a machine body. SOLUTION: The agricultural work vehicle has a rotary tilling device 20 having a tilling shaft 2, an engine 3 loaded on a machine body 1, traveling wheels 40 supported on a transmission case 5 through an axle 4 and a handle bar 9 for steering in the order from the front in the traveling direction, wherein a rotary case 6 for supporting the tilling shaft 2 is arranged approximately horizontally along a line segment L connecting the axle 4 to the tilling shaft 2 and lifting and lowering wheels 7 having changeable support height to the machine body 1 are installed in front of the rotary tilling device 20.
