PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool of a spinning reel having a front flange part resistant to deformation. SOLUTION: The spool 4 is placed between a 1st rotor arm and a 2nd rotor arm of a rotor and attached to the tip end of a spool shaft 15 via a drag mechanism 60. The spool 4 is provided with a line-winding drum 4a, a front flange 4c fixed to the front end of the line winding drum 4a, a front flange reinforcing member 4b placed at the front part of the front flange 4c, a front flange fixing member 55 attached to the line-winding drum 4a by clamping the front flange reinforcing member 4b between the front flange 4c and the fixing member, and a skirt integrally formed on the rear end of the line-winding drum 4a.
