PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reservation transmission system capable of performing reserved transmission of an electronic file stored in a PC through an image processing apparatus provided with a distribution function. SOLUTION: The reservation transmission system is provided with PCs connected onto the same network, and the image processing apparatus provided with the distribution function. Each PC is provided with a means for transmitting additional information including transmission source information, transmission destination information, and a transmission date and time in addition to a transmission object electronic file to the image processing apparatus via the network, and the image processing apparatus is provided with a means for storing the transmission object electronic file and the additional information received from the PC and a means for transmitting the transmission object electronic file stored in the hard disk to the transmission destination designated by the additional information at the transmission date and time designated by the additional information.
