PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image obtained by easily making data stored in information equipment such as a personal computer to be the image and projecting the image by enlarging the image. SOLUTION: A projecting image display device has an interface, an image processor and a projector. The image processor converts the data inputted from external information equipment through the interface into an image signal, and the projector converts the image signal into an optical signal and projects the optical signal by enlarging the optical signal. According to this configuration, the data stored in the information equipment such as a personal computer can be made an image to be projected by enlarging the image, and the configuration of the projecting display device can be simplified to lower a manufacturing cost by assuming the image of a comparatively small area.
