PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a sound pressure at an undesirable position and in an undesirable direction when forming a sound field by a speaker array. SOLUTION: A processing system is provided with: a plurality of digital filters DF0 to DFn to which audio signals are respectively supplied; and the speaker array 10. Supplying outputs of the digital filters DF0 to DFn to speakers SP0 to SPn of the speaker array 10 forms the sound field. Setting a prescribed delay time respectively to the digital filters DF0 to DFn forms points with a greater sound pressure than the sound pressure of surroundings and points with a smaller sound pressure than the sound pressure of surroundings to the sound filed. A low pass characteristic is provided to the frequency response of the digital filters DF0 to DFn. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
