PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance facility, where a relay body that can be arranged between supports can be completely separated from the supports when not in use, and can travel in a dense state without generating any gap between front and rear ends regardless of a conveyance system when in use. SOLUTION: The support 1 for supporting an object W to be conveyed, and the relay body 11 that can be arranged between the supports 1 are supported by a conveyance means 31 so that they can be conveyed on a fixed path 30. Connection means 21A, 21B that can be linked to and separated from the support 1 freely are provided before and after the relay body 11. An engagement operation means 55 for engaging the connection means 21A, 21B are arranged at a set path section 40 in the fixed path 30. The support and the relay body are alternately supplied onto the fixed path, and the connection means are engaged and moved by the engagement operation means , thus conveying the relay body in a dense train shape (continuous shape) connected to the front and rear support bodies regardless of a conveyance system.
