<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by customizing an operation screen of a multimedia reproducing apparatus, as desired by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The user arbitrarily customizes the operation screen on a predetermined customizing screen to be presented on a personal computer 101 from a server 103, the resulted operation screen data are downloaded to the personal computer 101 from the server 103, the downloaded operation screen data are written into the multimedia reproducing apparatus 102 via a memory card.
