<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which performs high-precision and stable gray-scale transformation. <P>SOLUTION: A transverse sort circuit 113 performs the sorting of pixel value columns in the same row of a radiograph having a gas area or an air area in a subject and rearranging the pixel value columns in the same row in order from a pixel having the highest pixel value to pixels having lower pixel values, for an entire subject image. An analysis circuit 114 calculates feature quantities from prescribed areas of the image subjected to the sorting in the transverse sort circuit 113. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
