<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to rapidly heat regenerated gas and adsorbent, or the like, and to reduce difficulties for maintenance, or the like, in an adsorbent vessel and an adsorbent method. <P>SOLUTION: The adsorbent vessel (24), used for adsorbing constituent elements from gas and used for regenerating after thermally caused release of the constituent elements, is provided with an inlet for generating gas which has an inlet nozzle (40) including at least one heater element (48) and an outlet for regenerating gas. The inlet and outlet for the regenerating gas are separated by a passage provided with a flow chamber including an adsorbent body of an adsorbent (28), and the adsorbent body of the adsorbent (28) comprises a primary edge part adjacent to the inlet for the regenerating gas and a secondary edge part apart from the inlet for the regenerating gas and is arranged so that the heater element (48) or each heater element passes the primary edge part of the adsorbent (28) without penetrating through. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
