<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-priced information system that can utilize storage media of an external connection type without mounting a particular communication means and transfer control means on the system body and to provide a highly convenient information recoding system service in which users may pay a fee only for a capacity they want to use and further when they want to add a more capacity, they may pay the fee by just that much. <P>SOLUTION: A primary storage means, a wireless communication means and a card control section are included within a CF card ATA with an I/F and the card control section autonomously transfers by air the data written temporarily in the primary storage means to logical storage on an external storage. Further, a change in a setting of the logical storage capacity of the external storage side can increase an apparent capacity of the card. Besides, a service can be provided which determines the apparent capacity of the card in proportion as a paid fee. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
