PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a drift noise from being generated in accompaniment to a change of a spring constant in an elastic member, and to facilitate regulation and setting in observation, so as to attain a high dynamic range and stabilization. SOLUTION: This detector is provided with a horizontal pendulum 24 provided with a weight 26 in its tip side, having a base end supported by an X-type hinge 23, and oscillated within a horizontal plane around the base end as the center, a magnetic levitation mechanism 30 for floating up the weight 26 and for keeping an oscillation direction of the horizontal pendulum 24 within the horizontal plane, an electrostatic capacity position detector 34 for measuring a horizontal-directional swing angle of the pendulum 24, a control circuit 100 for calculating a restoration amount of the horizontal pendulum 24, based on the swing angle of the pendulum 24 by the electrostatic capacity position detector 34, and a pendulum restoration mechanism 40 for restoring the horizontal pendulum 24 based on a calculation result by the control circuit 100.
