PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation structural body with improved damping characteristics by providing a cavity portion for laminated rubber consisting of hard plates and soft plates and filling a filling material with the cavity portion. SOLUTION: The base isolation structural body 1 has the cavity portion 5 that is provided for the laminated rubber 4 made by alternately sticking a plurality of the hard plates 2 with rigidity and soft plates 3 with viscoelastic characteristics and that is filled with the filling material 6.
