PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to display a name (alias) which can be easily judged by a photographer while keeping the name of a DCF directory as it is by setting the alias in the DCF directory. SOLUTION: An alias management file is prepared in a route directory of a storage medium in which the DCF director is stored and the name of the DCF directory and its alias are managed one-to-one in the alias management file.
