PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device contributing to the miniaturization of an image pickup device such as a camera on which the optical device is mounted by miniaturizing the conventional optical device in which a light shielding member and a light dimming member are assembled further. SOLUTION: A shutter/filter unit 16 being the optical device has a shutter actuator 27 and a filter actuator 28 with which a driving source main body is coupled in series, a shutter driving ring 32, two shutter blades 33 and 34 and one ND filter 36. Furthermore, the blades 33 and 34 are driven and turned to open/close by the actuator 27 through the ring 32, and the filter 36 is directly driven and turned to advance/retreat by the actuator 28. The blade 33 and the filter 36 are supported by a common blade supporting pin 31c and respectively driven and turned. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
