STAMPING APPARATUS FOR SHEET-LIKE WORKPIECE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamping apparatus for a sheet-like workpiece capable of providing a display on the surface of the sheet-like workpiece during processing on the continuously processed sheet-like workpiece. SOLUTION: The stamping apparatus 11 for a sandwich 7 provides a brand displaying a filling 6 to breads 5 for the sandwich 7 in which the filling 6 is enclosed under a condition where the filling 6 is pinched with the breads 5 from the top and bottom directions. The apparatus is provided with a stamping means 30 having a stamping part 38 on which a specified display is engraved and a heating means 41 providing heat for the brand to this stamping part 38, and a following means 50 for relatively moving the stamping part 38 of the stamping means 30 in the carrying direction of the breads 5 and in the opposite direction. When the breads 5 during being carried reach a specified position, while the stamping part 38 is brought to close to a stamping position for the breads 5 in accordance with the movement of the breads 5 by a carrying action, it is stamped to provide the brand on the breads 5.
