PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal type high velocity forging machine with which a thinning can be obtained by preventing the deformation at the forming time of a forged product composed of a flange part, a boss part in the axial direction and a web part connecting these parts. SOLUTION: The horizontal type high velocity forging machine 11 for forming the forged product 1 is composed of the flange part 1a, the boss part 1b in the axial direction and the web part 1c connecting these parts. The machine has the constitution provided with a forming ring die 12 for forming the outer peripheral surface of the flange part, an annular forming die 13 for forming the flange part, the web part and the boss part, an ejector 16 for ejecting the forged product from the forming ring die by making penetrable to the forming die and pushing the end surface of the boss part, a punch 20 for forming the forged product by cooperating with the forming ring die and the forming die and a push-out mechanism 15 for separating the forged product from the forming ring die by pushing the flange part when the punch after forming is separated from the forged product.
