PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for servo presses which has versatility and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: The controller 10 for servo presses 20 having a slide 22 and a servomotor 24a is provided with a sequence control part 1 and a servo amplifier 2 provided between the sequence control part 1 and the servomotor 24. The sequence control part 1 incorporates a ladder arithmetic part 1a and a servo arithmetic part 4a. The ladder arithmetic part 1a of them is for determining the starting command of the slide 22 on the basis of set input data and the servo arithmetic part 4a is for determining a driving command to the servomotor 24a on the basis of the starting command from the ladder arithmetic part 1a. A synchronizing signal is sent from the servo amplifier 2 to the ladder arithmetic part 1a and the servo arithmetic part 4a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
