PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device capable of reliably preventing flying out of crushed debris scattered by a crusher and releasing an opening rapidly in response to an air blast generated in the crusher to discharge the blast pressure. SOLUTION: This device 8 is to be arranged at the opening portion 7 of a duct 5 disposed in such a way as to be communicated with a crushing chamber 2 and has (1) a sheet member 11 covering the whole of the opening member 7 to prevent passing of scattering crushed debris, (2) locking means 13 on a flange plate 9 arranged around the opening portion 7 of the duct 5 and at two or more positions around the opening portion 7 and capable of locking the sheet member 11 to the plate 9 against the impact of crushed debris going to pass through the opening portion 7 and allowing the sheet member 11 to leave the plate 9 under the pressure of an air blast passing through the opening portion 7, and (3) a peripheral holding means 14 pressing the skirt portion 11c of the sheet member 11 to hold it.
