PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiotherapy system for facilitating a medical treatment plan after the radiotherapy is performed to a subject, and also to provide a method for operating the same. SOLUTION: This system includes: a radiation emitting head 10 for emitting radiation rays for a medical treatment; image processing parts 30 and 31 for generating the image of a lesion, while following the lesion of the subject to be radiated with the radiation rays for the medical treatment from the radiation emitting head 10; and a recording part 80 for successively recording the images of the lesion generated by the image processing parts 30, 31.
