The method involves manufacturing a structural wall (1), designating the desired path of mock framework beams (2) on the plastered wall and covering the wall sections which lie outside of the designated zones. A 1-2 mm thick first mortar layer (6) of good adhesive thin bed mortar is placed onto the areas of the mock beams (2) and a 3-8 mm thick second mortar layer (7) is applied to the first. Structuring (8) is introduced into the second mortar layer which corresponds in its path to the natural structure path of wood. A paint layer (11) is then applied to the structured second mortar layer. Independent claim describes imitation work on structural walls made of a structured mortar layer with paint coating (11).
