PURPOSE: An originator notifying service method in a telephone network is provided to enable an originator to display various caller information in a receiver terminal, or to ring a bell sound configured by the originator in the receiver terminal, so that the originator can change the caller information on a screen of the receiver terminal. CONSTITUTION: An originator accesses an IVR(Interactive Voice Responses) server(102) or a WAP server(103) through a wireless network(101) by using a self terminal(100), or accesses a web server(112) from a computer terminal(110) through an Internet network(111). The originator configures various caller ID multimedia data, and registers in the IVR server(102), the WAP server(103), or the web server(112). The originator transmits a bell sound or an avatar that can express the originator to a receiver terminal(130) through a download server(120). The receiver terminal(130) stores information on the caller ID multimedia data. Whenever the originator calls a receiver with the terminal(100), the receiver recognizes the originator by using the information on the multimedia data.
