Process for reducing emissions from polyurethane foams
摘要
Reducing formaldehyde emissions from polyurethane foams comprises adding an amino-functional polymer before, during or after producing the foam. Independent claims are also included for: (1) polyurethane foam containing 0.0001 to less than 0.1 wt.% of an amino-functional polymer with a molecular weight (MW) of at least 500 and an amino functionality (AF) of at least 3, the MW/AF ratio being 40-500; (2) equipment articles comprising the polyurethane foam; (3) use of amino-functional polymers to improve the mechanical properties of polyurethane foams.
