PURPOSE: A method for assigning time slots of an asynchronous wireless communication system traffic control device is provided to enable a THM(Traffic Handling Module) to divide time corresponding to frame length into time slots by TTI(Traffic Time Interval), and to select a time slot that can transmit frames at the most accurate time, thereby periodically repeating frame transmissions at exact time every THE(Traffic Handling Element) and assigning independent time slots for a new branch. CONSTITUTION: A THM checks a TTI of a transmission channel to be set(S400). If the TTI is 20ms, the THM assigns 16 time slots to the maximum(S410). The THM determines time slots for carrying out the transmission channel, and inserts the time slots to a 20ms scheduling table(S420). If the TTI is not 20ms, the THM checks whether the TTI is 40ms(S430). If so, the THM assigns 32 time slots to the maximum(S440), and inserts the time slots to a 40ms scheduling table(S450). If the TTI is not 40ms, the THM checks whether the TTI is 10ms(S460). If so, the THM assigns 8 time slots to the maximum(S470), and inserts the time slots to a 10ms scheduling table(S480).
