DEVICE FOR DECREASING SULFUR CYANIDE IN CONDENSED WATER FROM COKE OVEN GAS

PURPOSE: Provided is a device for decreasing sulfur cyanide in condensed water generated from coke oven gas which thermally decomposes the sulfur cyanide at high temperature. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a condensed water precipitating tank(145) collecting the condensed water generated from the cokes oven gas supplied to a pipe system(120), a pipe(5) connecting a rising pipe(110) of a coke oven(100) from the condensed water precipitating tank, a transferring pump(10) mounted on the pipe and supplying the condensed water from the condensed water precipitating tank to the rising pipe, and a controller(20) controlling an amount of the condensed water supplied to the rising pipe from the condensed water precipitating tank by opening and closing a valve(12) according to a predetermined flow rate.
