METHOD FOR REMOVING PROCEEDING FAILURE OF COILED STRIP

PURPOSE: A method for removing proceeding failure of coiled strip is provided to automatically prevent loop generated on a top end part of the strip by influence of such things as catching during proceeding of the strip in a process of proceeding the top end part of following strip to down coiler after cutting strip or welding part. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a step (S51) of judging proceeding failure of the strip based on proceeding distance of the strip during initial coiling of top end part of the strip; steps (S52,S53) of memorizing the calculated strip proceeding distance by calculating proceeding distance of the strip up to now if an output side line is stopped by controlling output side line rapid stop (speed reduction of 48 m/min) when the strip is judged to be in the proceeding failure state; a step (S54) of closely adhering strip bent part leveling rolls to the strip by performing leveling control on bent parts of the strip; steps (S55-S59) of backward controlling the output side line at first backward speed, backward controlling a backward speed reduction rate of the output side line at second backward speed if the output side line is judged to be in the backward speed reduction state, and stopping backward movement of the output side line if the output side line is judged to be in the backward movement stopping state; steps (S60-S62) of performing action starting at a preset speed of the output side line by receiving the number of cut strip sheets and line starting instruction, and performing cutting of proceeding failed strip as many as a set cut strip sheet number; and steps (S63,S64) of normally operating the output side line by starting initial coiling of the top end part of the strip if continuous cutting completion signal of the set cut strip sheet number is received.
