PURPOSE: Reinforcing structure of a side sill part of a vehicle is provided to prevent penetration of a collided parts in a broadside collision of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Reinforcing structure of a side sill part of a vehicle includes a door panel(1); a side outer panel(2) formed to the lower end of the door panel; a side inner panel(3) the upper and lower ends of which are welded to the inside of the side outer panel, with a space; and a weather strip(4) covering the upper combining part of the side outer and inner panels. The reinforcing structure of the side sill part further includes a bracket(11) mounted to the inside of the side inner panel by a fastening member(11a); a cylindrical body(12) having the outer peripheral surface of a lower cylindrical surface(12a) welded to a circular surface of the bracket; a support pin(13) installed to the upper part of an elastic spring(12b) installed in the lower cylindrical surface and inserted through an opening of an upper cylindrical surface(12c) of the cylindrical body; a control member(14) one side of which comes in contact with the inside of the side outer panel and the other side penetrates the lower part of a central cylindrical surface(12d) of the cylindrical body; and a guide member(15) installed to the lower inside of the door panel, to guide the support pin while receiving the elastic force of the elastic spring by the operation of the control member and expanding when the support pin is collided.
