PURPOSE: A home network system is provided to assign logical addresses to home appliances, and to assign home addresses to power line modems, thereby efficiently constructing the home network system and removing a home appliance to be deleted from an inner network. CONSTITUTION: An inner network is built in a building to transceive data. Plural home appliances(A1-A4) in the first home transceive the data through the inner network. Power line modems(B1-B4) are connected to the plural home appliances(A1-A4), respectively, and modulate/demodulate the data transceived through the inner network by the home appliances(A1-A4). Plural home appliances(C1-C4) in the second home transceive data through the inner network. Power line modems(D1-D4) are connected to the plural home appliances(C1-C4), respectively, and modulate/demodulate the data transceived by the plural home appliances(C1-C4).
