PURPOSE: A device for coupling a battery cover of a mobile communication terminal is provided to house a battery pack in a terminal body, and to adopt an acceptance method covering the battery pack with a battery cover, thereby preventing the battery pack from being damaged by shock as preventing deterioration of a charging capacity. CONSTITUTION: A body cover(16) has a battery pack accepting portion that can house a battery pack(11) on one side. A battery cover(10) covers the battery pack(11) housed in the battery pack accepting portion, and is detachably combined with the body cover(16). An operational plate moves a hook(14) to a locking position and an unlocking position. A hooking groove is formed on a support projection. The hooking groove is combined with the hook(14) on the body cover(16). A hook cover guides the hook(14) interworked with the operational plate such that the hook(14) can move within a predetermined mobile path. A leaf spring(25) is housed in the hook cover, and generates a force that can always locate the hook(14) in a locking state by pushing the operational plate.
