The buoy for measurement of water quality comprises a control module, a general pressure sensor, communication devices, devices for measuring parameters which determine the quality of the water, the corresponding data being sent in company with information covering its location to a remote control center. It comprises a housing (1) in the lower half of which is included a tubular location which extends towards the exterior and in which is retained a multi-parametric sensor which remains submerged in the water. In the upper part is a transparent extension (3) in which are located the antennas and an optical signaling buoy. Also in the interior and in the lower part are several batteries and there is an upper housing in which the electronic equipment is located.
