POLYURETHANE-AMIDE ADHESIVE USING GLYCEROL AND FATTY ACID

PURPOSE: A polyurethane-amide adhesive is provided, to obtain a non-formaldehyde-based thermosetting adhesive useful for wood by using glycerol and fatty acid obtained from an edible oil. CONSTITUTION: The polyurethane-amide adhesive comprises a compound which is obtained by reacting a vegetable oil, an edible oil and/or waste edible oil with polymethylene bisphenyl isocyanate (PMDI). Preferably the polyurethane-amide adhesive comprises a compound which is obtained by reacting a fatty acid and a glycerol structure-having compound obtained by the hydrolysis of a vegetable oil, an edible oil and/or waste edible oil, and PMDI in the ratio of 1:1:1 to 1:1:5 by equivalence.
