PURPOSE: A neck injury-preventing device of a headrest for a vehicle is provided to minimize the space between the seated person's head and the front of the headrest at the moment of a collision and minimize a relative motion difference between the upper part of the seated person's body and the seated person's head, and to prevent neck injury occurring when the seated person's head is suddenly pulled back. CONSTITUTION: A neck injury-preventing device of a headrest for a vehicle comprises a cable(21) one end of which is connected to a headrest bar(15), to pull forward and rotate the headrest bar, in a state of being supported by a cable guide(22) in a seatback(11); a rotating lever(23) rotatively installed to a seatback frame; and a lever drive apparatus part(30) comprising a push plate(31) situated inside the seatback and a guide unit elastically supporting and guiding the push plate in a state of being fixed to the seatback frame. The other end of the cable is connected to a side of the rotating lever, to pull the cable, in rotating. The guide unit rotates the rotating lever by an operating rod(35), as the push plate is pushed.
